Chania Cozy Studios

The location of the apartament is more than amazing, everyhing is nearby like sea, old town, charming restaurants. The whole apartament was more than cozy, very clean and with all facilities, everything in the climate of the country. And finally, the host, who is so warm and hearty person, who cares about his guests giving all instructions and tips what is worth seeing in the city, things which are not available in the internet. Nectari answers all questions, whatever we asked and he met all our requests and needs. It would be perfect, if each apartament has such a host. And we cannot forget about Oscar, lovely doggy, who is a family member of the studio. Everything makes, that you feel like at home

We spent two nights in this little studio only five minutes from the old harbour, in one of those quaint buildings that almost seem to kiss each other. We wished we had stayed longer. From the entrance framed with lush potted plants, up the narrow wooden staircase that creaks slightly under your steps, and to the cozy studio with its eclectic decor, the place exudes an air of charming nostalgia. It also feels very warm and homey. My wife loves design details, and there were plenty for her to see in every corner, mixed and matched without making the place feel crowded. The studio has a kitchen equipped with everything you need, so you can cook a quick breakfast if you wish. There was coffee, a moka pot and an electric kettle. There's also a proper table where you can eat, and even work on your laptop. We found complimentary raki in the mini fridge. The bathroom is quite large and has its own window, which is a big plus. We found toiletries, a hair dryer and plenty of towels. The owner is very kind and eager to help. He contacted us long before our arrival and left us detailed messages on how to find the place and self check-in, then contacted us again to check if everything was ok. We also found a comprehensive list of instructions on how to use some of the appliances (such as the water boiler in the bathroom or the ceiling fan) and house rules (which are common sense). We didn't need to use the air conditioning, as the studio has windows overlooking two different streets. That and the ceiling fan were enough to cool and air the place. Though you are only two minutes away from bars and restaurants, the building is tucked on a side street, away from the noise, so nights are quiet. We slept very well. The only downside was that it's a non-smoking room, although we do understand the rationale behind it. We solved that by having our coffee outside, as we have our own travel ashtray. All in all a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Location is great, has a lot of character and has everything needed for a short stay. Leaving some ground coffee was a lovely touch.

was great that there was a washing machine available, but as it was shared it seemed to be in constant use. Luckily we were there 3 nights and did manage to get some vital bits through.
