We were looking for a place close to the airport, cheap, and slightly out of the center so that it is easier to drive around for one night. This is exactly what we get. Instructions to the key and the apartment was very clear. We arrived without any problem. Our flight is delayed and eventually we arrived to the apartment around 23.00. Our host was responsive at that hour (we let him know that we arrived and he responded, which is assuring in case something goes wrong actually). As promissed some cream pastries, sweet jams, etc was available for the breakfast next day. This was pretty much what we were expecting. We were also happy to see water, milk, lots of coffee pods and tea bags for a night stay. Wifi worked without a problem, as well. Everything smelled freshly cleaned in the apartment. Around the apartment looks old and disorganized, but we did not feel unsafe. Although, we did not try to walk to the center at that hour. Overall, if you look for an enough accommodation with an easy access to the center and quick in and out in catania, this place is convenient.

When we arrived to the apartment, it was extremely cold. There was a heater, which we used and also a thicker blanket in the cabinet. But it was still very cold. Perhaps if we had the time to leave things on and come back to the room later on it could have been a bit warmer. But with the midnight arrival, we did not have too much waiting time. The heating option of the airconditioner also did not work. We gave it half an hour but no warm air is blown, then we gave up and just went to sleep. The water condition was not any better either. There was a limited amount of warm water. After 15 min, it is ice cold. When the first person take a shower the second person should do it with cold water or should wait until it is warm again. Which is pretty inconvenient. Water issue and the size of the room gives the impression that it might be OK for one person, but not very comfortable for two. I would not consider to book this place in winter again, either. Maybe in the summer time temperature wise it would be more confortable.

The place was good but a bit far from the tourist attractions of the town.

The internet was not working on apple devices. The android ones were connected for a day and the connection was gone for good in the next days of the stay.

The host was responsive, gave us clear instructions on how to get to the room. We arrived late in the evening and used the room for short stay’ one night. It has all the needed facilities for shower and sleep. Bed was comfortable. The room could pass for one night stay if you need somewhere to stay before catching the flight. It is near the airport. There was breakfast included and it was all kindly served on the table by the host before we arrived.

Very ugly neighborhood, a lot of trash everywhere. Very poor sound isolation, and very noisy neighbors. The entrance door of the room is very weak and should be changed for more safety. There were no windows in the room so no fresh air could enter. I do not recommend for long stay.
