Shangri-la Doonside

The place was Awesome,close proximity to everything.The View if the ocean and watching the sun risingfrom my window was truly amazing.

I didn't get to meet the lovely staff at reception

Apartment is great.

Having to collect water from the borehole that cannot be consumed every 15 minutes from the 24-29/04. We had nothing to carry the water with except two cleaning 5lt buckets to cater for 5 adults and 1 toddler. Having to bathe with cold water as there was no big pot or urn to boil the water with for a large group. Buy drinking and cooking water until 28/04 as water was only restored after 17h00. No effort was made to assist with the situation we found ourselves in. The apartment is absolutely amazing.

Nothing, I have never been so appalled.

Being stuck in a place with no water at all for the duration of my stay. Had to sort myself out. Can't use the toilet, can't bath, can't cook for the full 5 nights/6 days. Booking.com refused to get us an alternative place and imposed a full cancelation fee should we live on our according even though we were robbed of what we paid for when the booking was done. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed with booking.com given that they claim to rate and check all the properties and facilities on behalf of their consumers which is not the case. They wouldn't have approved my booking had they done their homework. Is it maybe the issue of race, being black equates to not being given the respect you rightfully deserve.

Absolutely beautiful and safe...!!! One of the best places I've stayed in...so clean that you can literally eat off the floor. Definitely worth it 👌 🤩❤️
