Small rooms, strict policies and rules about swimming pool and ability to invite guests

I recently stayed at the Shore Residence in Manila, and unfortunately, my experience was quite unpleasant and not worth the money charged. Initially, I booked the room for two nights but decided to cut my stay short to just one night due to several issues. The key collection process was very inconvenient. I had to wait in the lobby for more than 30 minutes, and the only way to communicate with the caretaker was through the Booking.com communication channel, which was not ideal and added to the frustration. The room itself was disappointing. The facilities were not clean, and the air conditioning unit was extremely dusty, making it uncomfortable to breathe while sleeping. Although the provided bedding was adequate for one person, it did not compensate for the overall poor condition of the room. The worst part of my stay was waking up in the morning to find a couple of dead cockroaches on the floor. This was unacceptable and the main reason I decided to leave after just one night. The cleanliness of the unit needs significant improvement, and better bedding should be provided for renters. Considering the price they charge, the experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend this place to others until they address these issues and improve the overall quality of their accommodations.
