Not relaxing at all, nothing to do if pool isn’t available- our stay was during a rainy weekend and so the only option was to read in our room. Because the staff didn’t tarp the wood, there was no dry wood to have a fire in our room, the one amenity available as it was pouring and too cold to swim. A dog barked for almost two hours at 5am on the patio next door to ours and we texted the THREE different numbers provided to us by the camp and received zero response or help. In fact no one even addressed the issue until after we had decided enough of the bad time was enough and we checked out a full day early. This was not a relaxing experience for us, the poor internet service, the one playlist on loop at the pool, the cleaning staff on our patio yelling at each other while I showered inside, the same show and food at dinner every night. It also should be noted that the prices for the snacks and beverages at the pool are quite high- even for water, and the camp does not provide filtered water, nor was ours ever restocked after the one bottle on arrival. The one highlight was the massage we received in the small massage room below the pool. If you are thinking of heading to the camp, I would recommend no more than one night and make sure to have them bring firewood to your room ahead of time in case of any very predictable rain issues. Based on the drive into the area these camps are all very much on top of each other and very similar, we could hear and see the fire show from the camp behind ours at night after we were banished to our room immediately post dinner at 9:30 to sit around with no fire or internet. So pick one that has better reviews.

CAITNice and well organised Desert Camp. Mohammad was nice and thoughtful and helped us with everything from luggage to ordering food and accommodate for our needs. The food was exceptional and genuine (I’m Moroccan).
