"Above expectations."

Very clean. Roomy room. Gracious and personalized breakfast. Convenient to Bernalda, Metaponto. Luxurious outside spaces.

Lovely old Masseria overlooking the golf course. Very quiet at night. The bedroom was very big.

The site said that the restaurant was open which was incorrect. We could only eat there 1 night and have lunch Sunday as there was an event. The menu is limited. The hotel really caters to golfers. The AC is old and not efficient.

Everything clearly exceeded our expectations: room, interior, friendly- and helpfulness of manager, golf course, breakfast.

Hard to believe but there is nothing to improve. We wish we would have had more time to extend our stay.

"A great tranquil spot!"

This place is a quiet gem in the middle of the Italian countryside. We used it as we love to play golf but the beautiful rooms, bar and lovely hosts would make it appeal to anyone. A night on this tranquil setting and you are totally relaxed. The rooms are luxurious and well refined to suit the period of the building. Hospitality is based "on nothing is too much trouble", superb. If you want to play golf then the course is a nice surprise, well kept and a good challenge, with the benefit the local pro is English/Italian.

Perhaps a little quiet in the evening if you don't want to drive.
