Castle Dargan Hotel

We stayed at the Hotel to look aftyer the funeral arrangements of my brother in law. We had a meal at the Hotel after the funeral. The catering manager was very empathetic and supportive and we had an excellent meal at a very reasonable price. Thye lodge was the perfect place for us to stay.

The circumstances of our stay. We will come back again soon for a more pleasant experience.

We checked in on the evening of May 27th, and the receptionist working around 9:30pm was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. Unfortunately, we didn’t get her name, but she helped us so much and made our check-in experience really pleasant. We truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism.

Die Betten waren bequem. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze vor der Tür. Das Frühstück war gut, man konnte aus der Karte bestellen und den Rest gab es am Buffet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und alles war sauber.

Die Zimmer waren viel zu warm, wir haben nichts gefunden, um die Temperatur zu regulieren. Es gab eine Badewanne mit installiertem Duschkopf. Leider war ein breiter Haltegriff so angebracht, dass man wenig Platz zwischen Duschwand und Wand hatte. Die Toilette war viel zu nah an der Seitenwand montiert. Der Wasserhahn konnte nur mit erheblicher Kraftanstrengung bewegt werden.Manchmal möchte man den Hotelbesitzern empfehlen, ihre Konstruktionen einfach mal selber auszuprobieren. Zudem war alles ziemlich abgewohnt.
