The location is excellent – close to the beach and town. The upper terrace has a beautiful view (although you cannot use it during the day because there is nothing to shield you from the sun). The bathroom is equipped well enough. The host responded quickly to messages during our stay.

There were serious issues with cleanliness, safety, and functionality, which clearly do not meet the standards of a 3-star apartment in Croatia: We arrived to find dirty dishes in the cupboards – not just one pot, but multiple pieces with visible grease. The dishwasher did technically turn on, but when we used it before leaving (only once), it did not clean the dishes at all, and there was a mold inside (see attached photos – if a cleaning service left it like that, if I were them, I would try to talk my way out too). The apartment smelled of alcohol upon arrival. The mattresses were completely worn out and extremely uncomfortable. One of the terrace chairs broke under me (I weigh about 60 kg), and the stair railing was dangerously unstable, with one end even pulled out of the wall. After a storm, water leaked from the AC unit in the upper bedroom. During rain, water entered the apartment under the terrace door. There were no trash bags provided and not even basic kitchen items like salt or sugar (not essential, but notable at this price). Most importantly, the apartment is not suitable for small children, although that was a key reason we chose it. The host’s response: After we shared this feedback with the host after our stay, she at first acknowledged some of the problems (e.g. dishwasher, leaking), but later tried to shift the blame onto us – saying we should have reported everything immediately and that her cleaning service complained about the condition we left the house in, which we strongly disagree with. We left the house in a clean and respectful state. We didn’t complain during the stay because many problems only became apparent over time, and we were traveling with small children – trying to avoid extra stress or relocation. It is not the guest’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the property upon arrival – it is the host’s responsibility to know the condition of the house they are renting out, especially at this price point.

Charming place, 2 separate bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, kitchen. One large bathroom. White towels. Close to the beach, promenade right next to it... The owner remembered my birthday. That's sweet.

Lot of space, terrace on the roof and ground floor, nice equipment (cups - I like bigger cups for a tea or coffee, in most of hotels they are very small, here they have proper size; toys for children), very close distance to the center, details (color of the doors, mentioned cups, external windows covers, hooks on walls for hanging clothes - small things, but very useful); the appartment can host big family; private parking spot - the parking is illuminated at night, you have a private key for a parking, there is a camera at the entrance, so the car is safe.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, great location and very nice owner, so everything was perfect. We will definitely be back here.

I visited Croatia many times since I was a child. This was perhaps ma best stay.
