Wild Cabins Kinvara

De prachtige omgeving overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het terrein heeft veel moois te bieden.

Het is natuurlijk eenvoudig dat weet je voordat je komt (toilet). Dat kan ook niet anders als je op zo’n lokatie wilt zitten. Alles wat je extra nodig hebt, ontdekt dat je toch niet zonder kunt. Vraag dat gewoon en het wordt gebracht.

An incredible experience that exceeded my expectations. The cabin was very relaxing and comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen (fridge, cooker) as well as an outdoor cooking area. The bathroom had a dry Scandinavian toilet and a shower. There were multiple cabins at this property but the cabins were spaced apart so everyone had a private area. The cabins are surrounded by wild flower fields which were a delight to wake up to. There were some nice walking paths and an area with animals (horses, llamas, sheep, goats). When we arrived, Roy met us and took our luggage to the cabin and showed us how everything worked. Additionally, this place is dog friendly and our little guy had a wonderful time! Overall, a great place to stay, unwind, and disconnect; highly recommend staying here!

The idea of it…the reality was something else altogether though, massive disappointment

The toilet facilities were poor, one has to use a cup (1 of the only 2 provided) to wash down waste, the cups were filthy, the floor was filthy, there were no 3 pin plug points and notwithstanding, all that was provided was a broken adapter. The shower was on a 60 second sensor which turned on and off with a gesture in from of the sensor however as the shower head was only 30cm out, every time you moved in the shower it turned on or off…the coffee pot was full of mouldy coffee grains. The fire has the previous occupants burned ashes in it. I could go on but have to say I have never been so disappointed with a stay. Without even considering all the foregoing, it was grossly overpriced. I could not and would not recommend this place to anyone

This was a dream getaway and the perfect switch off. Don was so friendly and accommodating. This is such a special place. From cooking on the outdoor fire, to the super comfy bed, to the simplicity of the cabin, we loved every minute. We will definitely be back.

Roy and Mary were great hosts - we felt well looked after but had plenty of private space at our cabin. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Meeting the animals was an amazing experience as well.

Localisation, STOVE ,closeness to the Nature, Farm Walk paths, close contact with animals on the farm, tranquility and closeness to Kinvara village , good quality cotton bedding , books available for reading

Lukewarm water available only in the shower, too small round table for having a meals , way to soft mattress. (We both woke up with the back pain ). That would be great to have some pergola- style roof covering an area upfront of the cabin - there was no option to open doors( only one way to ventilate the cabin) while the rain was falling heavily just straight into the interior.
