The Solis Penthouse

It was the perfect place to spend time with family... felt like home ...we had everything and more to spend quality time in comfort...special memories for sure

The lower Level was really nice, stylish and well equipped. The contact to Bridget, the Host, was very nice and uncomplicated.

The roof area could be more like the lower Level, for example cushions are a little bit worn and dirty.

The host David was very communicative well before our arrival at the property, and he remained accessible throughout our stay. Whenever we had a question, he was quick to respond. Pleasant interaction.

Load shedding isn't something that the host can control, so thankfully there was an inverter installed. Only issue was that there were a few times when it didn't come on. Load shedding occurred mostly at night, so it didn't impact us too much.

The Location & quietness of the area.

Not much.

The location was perfect. We were on the slope of a mountain with beautiful views of the mountain behind us and entire ocean views in front of us. The views are food for the soul. The owner met us to hand over the keys and answer any questions. She was very helpful and friendly. Thank you! The apartment is a dream. Everything has been decorated with a very modern, fresh decor and there was nothing lacking. The beds were super comfy with cosy warm, but light bedding for the winter days. We slept very snugly! Bathrooms were like a place of wellness. Kitchen was well equipped and modern. Sofas were comfy and a nice place for a family to chill out to watch the views/read/watch tv. Internet connection good. Inverter available. Lift service , good security! And then, the outside area: amazing view when you go onto the rooftop! Outside seating to watch those pink coloured clouds in the evening and see the city lights. A gas bbq. Pool. Honestly, theres everything you want and need on a family holiday. An ideal spot to unwind in. We did a lot of sightseeing in Cape Town, but I would have been truly happy to spend my whole holiday in the apartment. Its a place you want to be in, if you know what i mean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!

We didn't even see there's load shedding around as the penthouse is equipped with an inverter. The beds are comfortable and the place has everything we required for the stay. The gas fire place came in handy aswell.
