I received a text to ask for 500 pounds deposit the night before via what's app. Once I read the terms, it was said they would reach out 7 days before the booking. I wasn't made aware of a deposit not written on the page when booking. There is a ring door bell and camera out the front of the house facing the front of the house. Wooden pallet to step into the house with a mat on top. No shoes in the house sign as you enter. Very unsafe and front area was overgrown and messy. I was texted a number or times during my stay to follow house rules. Felt uncomfortable. I went out to have a cigarette at the front of the house and received a text to follow house rules and not to smoke in the house. We were being watched. House isn't to a high standard with a TV on the wall and one in front of it. Smell of damp also. Personal items are left in the house also. Dealing with my refund of my deposit was shocking. I took a video of the house before I left to make sure I would get my deposit back. Dealing with this company was shocking also. Couldn't wait to leave. Spent one night in the house. Would not recommend 😕

Good facilities and clean

Location was excellent for the reason we booked it (Manchester marathon) and the beds were comfy. Also easy to get the keys with the lockbox.

8 people staying and not 1 towel for any guest, just hand towels in the bathrooms. Sink upstairs was broken and unusable. Parking was inaccessible due to cars blocking the gate so we had to find alternative parking (not saying this is the property's fault that the cars were there but we could have easily been blocked in and stuck). Worst thing by far was the dirty state of the kitchen. After turning on the oven in the morning we found dirty pans, a frying pan full of old oil, a rolling pin and an old celebrations tin inside the oven that could have started a fire if we didn't notice. Very unhappy with the lack of cleaning given that it was an expensive night's "luxury" stay. The property have refused to give any refund (or apology) even though we only discovered the main issue right before check-out and this would have been impossible to resolve in the timeframe, even if we had rang them immediately. Regardless of when this was noticed or reported, it was completely unacceptable and disappointing. It is anything but luxury.

Posh luxury home indeed !

It was very cold , as a result we were not comfortable . We came from the Autism Awareness Event , held a short meeting in the lounge, just discussing about how was the event . All had blankets on from the bedrooms, because the house was freezing cold . I didn’t have a blanket on , because I wanted to keep my professional status, as in a meeting . We tried calling to get to be directed about how to warm the just lounge , but we could not get any person to answer our calls .
