**Title:** A Hidden Gem in Ahangama Our stay in this cottage was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The house features a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all spacious enough for two people to use comfortably at the same time—like making breakfast together without getting in each other’s way. The cottage is set in a beautiful garden surrounded by exotic plants. Every morning, I enjoyed sitting there to meditate or exercise, and the serene surroundings left me feeling positive and energized for the rest of the day. There’s also a cozy little terrace with a table, perfect for working or simply sipping coffee while enjoying the tranquil environment. The hosts are an absolutely lovely and caring family. They live in a house on the other side of the courtyard. Whenever we needed anything—be it airport transportation, towels, or laundry services—they were always quick to assist. They struck the perfect balance between being helpful and respecting our privacy, making us feel more like homeowners than renters. The location is also fantastic! The cottage is just a 2-minute walk to a surf spot and a beach bar where you can catch breathtaking sunsets—unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The town center is a short 7-minute walk away, offering plenty of dining options. Initially, we were hesitant to book a place with only two reviews, but it turned out to be the best decision we made! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem in Ahangama to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The property was very well located and was very peaceful. The host and his family were very welcoming and made me feel at home. They even helped me with cleaning my shoes which was great.
