The Parlour Cottage

The beds were extremely cosy, loads of blankets and towels left. The cottage was spotless and booking was made so easy by the owners. The location is amazing, only a couple minutes drive from the city. We really appreciated the small touches like complimentary food and drink left.

Nothing - was amazing

A beautiful old farm cottage, totally refurbished but retaining so much charm. 4 bedrooms and 3 toilets and a beautiful large kitchen cum living room. A lovely outside area for relaxing or bbq and parking also. The host even left fuel for the fire, which we lit and thoroughly enjoyed, and a few welcome bits, which included a nice bottle of red. Walking distance to the shops and on the edge of the city and what was once farming land. The area is getting built up, but a short walk up the road , and you can still see some cattle in the fields. Utterly charming and unique, a little bit of lost Ireland, pure bliss.

Really comfortable house, well furnished, nice beds in all rooms. Our host was very quick to respond to all questions.

It's a lovely house, only slight down side was it's a bit of a distance from the town centre. However we just took taxis which were 3ady to get

Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage. Very welcoming - lovely welcome with fire all set aswell. Kindly accomodated early access to change for a wedding.

The property was really well-located for all the sites of Galway city and the Connemara. Our group of 4 really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome - the “goodies” package was very much appreciated, particularly the Aussie wine! Our host was very communicative and we had no trouble finding the property.

The heating was a little overwhelming at times but we just had to constantly adjust it to a more comfortable level. The surrounds of the property could do with a little attention.

The place was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of six. The beds were comfy, and the well-equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry made it feel just like home — perfect for making breakfast in the morning and doing a quick load of laundry before the next leg of our trip. The host was wonderful — very friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He even left a welcome package and local recommendations, which was such a nice touch.

Not clean, you can tell that this place is only cleaned superficially. In desperate need of a thorough clean. Bathrooms are full of molds. Needs a good coat of paint everywhere
