The property was rather cold & there was only 3 pieces of wood for the fire & nothing in the log store

Cosy little cottage. Great kitchen facilities

It was very cold when we stayed. Once we found the thermostat we were able to turn this up it took several hours to reach over 20oC. There was a log burner--but only 2 small logs and none in the wood store so not usable. The bed is small for anyone over 6ft. The shower has a window next to it with a lovely view---but no blind or curtain.

The property was stunning, so cosy and a great location, perfect for our short stay had everything that we needed including the little touches like things for our dog Betty made I will stay very comfortable. We will definitely be using again for a longer stay.

Location for railway

Thought there was wood/coal available to use but none there cottage was cold on entering but was able to adjust the thermostat though the fire would have warmed the cottage a lot quicker this was my only issue as once in the cottage and already having been to the co/op we didn’t want to go out again to get wood otherwise a lovely clean comfy place

Excellent facilities, great decor, very good location.

A teeny bit draughty, however this is to be expected in an old building. Perhaps a blind for the bathroom window ;)
