Holiday Let Mistley

Delightful apartment, light, comfortable and clean, with superb view over the Stour Estuary, and a small balcony on which to sit and enjoy the view! Self-catering facilities. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nearby, excellent Restaurant. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!

I booked last minute and had great communications with the owners of the apartment and Jodie met me at the apartment to handover the key and initially show me around. The apartment was a gem, comfortable, modern bedroom furniture, lovely balcony where I could watch the water go out and come back in and sit on the balcony with a drink relaxing, TV never had so many channels to choose from and a lovely size. There was all the extras you needed coffee, various teas and fresh milk and i'd forgotten my toothpaste and there was some there. Parking was easy just across the road next to the railway station.. The station is extremely handy for those who want to use it while staying at the apartment, you change at Manningtree for Ipswich unless you get a direct train. Apartment ideal for a break or for a business stay. I visited the Mistley Thorn/Restaurant down the road for a meal one evening and that was lovely you really need to book this in advance as its popular. They mainly do fish dishes but their steak is awesome and Teas at the Quays for lunch is handy. I can't wait to visit the apartment again it was a relaxing couple of days and lovely sunsets and it would be an apartment you could use all year round.

I hand rail on the stairs would be good (a short one on the left hand as you come down).
