Comfortable. Looks neat.

Wasn’t clean. Spider webs and bath was dirty. Obviously not been clean for a while. I would have like to have a TV. Can’t comment about the staff. Never saw anyone. Although owner was available on her cell phone. Room wasn’t clean on the Saturday.

For lovers of nature the location could not be beaten. It was truly remarkable watching the birds and bok in the extensive gardens, it was hard to drag ourselves away from the stoop. The property and area was well explained to us when we arrived and we were thankful to be able to get in early. We enjoyed amazing hikes accessed directly from the gardens. It was an easy car journey to the town which has great shops and restaurants. The interior is spacious and comfortable, we didn't use the indoor braai but we're very thankful for the supplied logs which we used on the outside braai provided. The bathrooms are lovely. Swimming in the tranquil dam was an unexpected bonus!

A few amenities were missing such as an iron, only 1 fan and not enough bowls. Storage was also oddly laid out inside with kitchenware spread across several cupboards in different rooms- a bit annoying for braaing but no biggie! We found the beds to be a little uncomfortable/old/creaky.

Great location in nature, with well equipped rooms and living space. Lovely indoor braai with indoor and outdoor dining space. Kids could canoe with the equipment provided by the hosts.

No mop or broom to keep the unit tidy, especially with us using the indoor braai facility. The kitchen has most things but could do with a few extras.

The location is beautiful, the farm workers and hosts are friendly and helpful, the animals and dogs are friendly and overall it's a great family getaway.

Unfortunately, there were some basics missing like sufficient coffee and tea for the guests, and we might have missed the message to bring these items along.
