My stay there was lovely! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves at this place. The space was really huge and it was accessible by car. The hosts were also prompt in their response and very kind and helpful! It was a good stay.

The apartment is very roomy, with 4 bedrooms, a big kitchen, and a common room. It also has a shower room with a hot bath and a shower, as well as a separate restroom. For the price, the house is very accomodating and homely. It's about a 10 minute walk away from Yamanouchi station, where you can take a train towards Nagano, or a bus if you're heading for the snow monkey park or the slopes. Near the station there's also a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and some onsens.

The house is poorly insulated both heat- and soundwise, which means that it is likely quite cold when you get there. There are however room heaters in every room, which should fix the temperature problem quite soon. As you probably shouldn't leave the heaters running all day, especially if you're out of the house, they have a setting that let's you automate when the rooms start heating up. This lets you avoid the nasty cold mornings, by setting the heater to run for example 15 minutes before waking up. The lack of sound insulation means that all of the people will likely be able to hear each other's conversations, though this to us at least was quite a minor inconvenience.
