The Stables Cottage

A lovely relaxing break, the property had everything we could’ve needed for a perfect stay. The location was lovely and so peaceful. They’ve been designed & decorated amazingly, our cottage was spacious & full of daylight thanks to the roof windows (a great touch).

The only thing I could say as a negative would be that the windows looking out onto the other properties could maybe do with some blinds/mesh curtains, just as if we did want a bit of privacy/ to stop our dog barking at others, we had to close the curtains fully which did shut out some daylight. It wasn’t a major problem but just personally something I would add.

The property is a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Isolated location but lovely and quiet. Property is around a courtyard with several others, all new and quality builds but not overlooking each other. Lovely stay!

The cottage was so comfortable and in a lovely location to get to where we wanted to visit.

I’m still not sold on the log burner hot tub due to us having a dog and having to keep the door open for him. It made our clothes and the cottage smell a little.

It has been renovated to a very high standard! We loved the electric windows! The little touches like a pint of milk on arrival and Yorkshire tea bags were very welcomed!! The little on-site shop was a wonderful addition and my boys loved popping round after tea to choose a treat for pudding or stock up before a day out! The gardens are stunning and the little Footgolf area kept my boys amused. It was also a perfect location for visiting Scarborough, Flamingoland and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. We loved it! The hosts were very attentive.

How you can’t choose your neighbours!!! Nothing negative about the property!

Location great for access to other holiday spots .The site was rural and peaceful with a handy local pub for drinks and on occasion good food which was excellent

Hard to dislike anything as it was perfect for our wants and needs
