Casa Salvi Positano

We stayed at Casa Salvi for our honeymoon and it was a wonderful stay. The views overlooking Positano are incredible and the home interior is modern with beautiful artwork. Loved the bathtub and the big balcony for relaxing after a long hike. Close proximity to great hiking. Il Retrovo Restaurant has delicious meals and is a short walk from Casa Salvi. The host was very helpful prior to arrival and at check-in. We would stay here again.

The apartment is in the charming and small hamlet of Montepertuso which is situated above Positano. Stunning accomodation that was an articlate mix of contempory and traditional furniture. Amazing views of the sea, hills and mount Gambera which is lit up at night. Really nice outdoor area and hosts were friendly and informative. Situated near the village of Nocelle which is a hidden gem and has resturants including the outstanding Rifugio Del Mele. There is also excellant resesturant in Montepertuso with home made desserts and stunning panoramic views.

It was not an issue for us but the apartment is based in a lovely area where you can't drive so you need to be able to transport your luggage. You need to use the local bus service to get around which was really good or climb down the hundreds of steps. However it is worth it!!
