Excellent location, comfortable spacious rooms, friendly staff and good food. Staff is keen to do whatever they can to make the stay a comfortable one.

Food is expensive and charged per item in all meals. No fixed menus or prices are available to see before ordering. Cost of food is only revealed in the final bill.

The location of Green Shield is absolutely beautiful and the view you get of Ahbayaghira at morning and night is stunning. The staff was so nice and welcoming, he made sure every request was fulfilled during our stay. The breakfast was really good and we got everything we asked for. If you want a quiet place to stay right outside of the Sacred city of Anuradhapura then this is your place.

The location is quite and calm.

Sorry to mention this, but the truth is, I killed 38 mosquitos in this family room. Couldn't sleep calmly in those 02 nights. Eventhough they do not provide mosquito nets. Website booking was included breakfast but they separately charged for our breakfast.

The accomodation seems new and the rooms were big. The host was most accomodating and we had a great stay. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty and we received Sri Lankan food, some of which we haven't eaten until then. The accomodation is inside the ruins and viewing the Abayagiriya Stupda at sunset was great
