Estalagem de Marvão

Desde já agradecer a amabilidade do Sr. João que me abriu a porta já a horas tardias e a simpatia da Dona Branca que nos recebeu como quem recebe os sobrinhos que já não via há algum tempo. O quarto estava impecável, super limpo . Decididamente a melhor estalagem de Marvão 😁

Limpeza e arrumação impecáveis. Localização excelente. Simpáticos e atenciosos. Adorei.

A massive contrast to the big chain hotels - the complete opposite. Full of character and a host who really wants his guests to feel at home

Very narrow access for vehicles through medieval streets. Some folks might not like that but for us it was part of its charm. Who wants cars whizzing by in a stunning hill top village like this?

Séjour très agréable à Marvao, dans une maison d'hôtes, plus qu'un hôtel. Nous y avons eu un accueil très chaleureux, que ce soit par le propriétaire ou par la personne qui s'occupe des petits déjeuners. La maison est fantastique. Les lits étaient très confortables.

We were well received by Joao who showed us each one of the rooms and the facilities of the hotel. We arrived on a cold rainy day so after we had lunch and were able to check in, we ended up cozying up at the fireplace room (with plenty of wood to keep the fire going), were we had a chance to relax and have good conversations. It was nice that there was a small shop at the hotel's entrance where we were able to buy some of the best olive oil of Portugal and some other gifts to take home. We went to dinner at a restaurant recommended by Joao and after that retired to our very comfortable, and warm, rooms. In the morning, we had a nice breakfast at the Estalagem. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marvao.

Joio was an outstanding host. He communicated well with me before arrival and recommended a local establishment for dinner-it was very good. The hotel is traditional and unique. Our room was very spacious, two queen beds and a single bed in a separate room; perfect for that person who needs a bit of separation. Breakfast was generous. At the owner's suggestion, we packed just a small overnight bag, parked outside the city walls and walked up. (About 200m) Absolutely the right choice if you can do this!

비바람이 너무 강해서 마르바오의 모든 상점이 문을 닫은 상태였음. 호텔의 직원은 우리를 위해서 식사 준비관련 설명을 아주 자세하게 해주었으며, 우리를 위해 호텔 1층에 있는 상점 문을 열고 식료품을 살 수 있도록 도와주었음 가격 대비 룸이 넓고, 아주 청결하며, 침대 상태도 너무 좋았음 마르방 성 안에 위치하여, 마르방의 곳곳을 편하게 다닐 수 있어 좋았음
