Apartament Old City

Brilliant location. Very easy to explore Sibiu old town. Excellent restaurants within 50m

Long way to transport luggage from public car park. Some access to a drop luggage at apartment but via pedestrian only areas and a very narrow alley. Facilities were basic - showering was difficult and there was no kettle.

Location was great. Price was OK.

Kitchen without the equipment , accomodation in bad condition. Communications with owner very bad.

The location is great, right in the Old Center.

First of all, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Spider cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, dust of two fingers (and some petts) under the beds, furniture items that were not fastened (e.g. the bed frame). In the bathroom an unpleasant stinging odor. The apartment took us a while to find it, it is on a separate gang, next to other similar apartments like this one, you don't know which one is yours. After we arrived (although we specified our arrival time) we waited another 40 mins for someone to come so we could pay. As conditions, would have been ok a coffee maker, toilet paper in the restroom, ...; However, the beds were ok, we slept relatively well. I say all this here because I understood that a company is in charge of the cleaning, the owner may not know about all this

Good location, clean towels, spacious bedrooms. Nice courtyard.

On booking it said there was a kitchen. A sink and three cups does not mean a kitchen. I don't understand why they would have pots, if they don't have a stove. Also no detergent was there so we had to wash the dishes with hand soap. The refrigerator was not plugged in when we came. The place was very dusty and the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. A piece of the bed fell off.

The location is very central, if you don't mind your front door being directly in an alleyway!

By the way, the door to the alleyway is a regular wooden bedroom door with a simple lock. There is a 2nd more solid looking door behind it, but you cannot lock that one. Also, the Wi-Fi, although everything was plugged in and the router seemed to be working, did not work at all. Connected but no internet available. Also, as central as the location is, it's rather unsettling that you have to enter your apartment through a literal alleyway that smelled like pee. The apartment itself was also built in what felt like a very old cellar/basement. The window to the bathroom did not have a bug net, meaning that much needed airflow also let insects in. The windows to your two bathrooms have a direct, eye-level view into the alleyway. Make sure your curtains are drawn since people can just watch you sleep otherwise.

The heating system was problematic (too hot) and the hot water was not working very easy.

The location is very good.

The place looks old, but that is not suck a big problem as the mold. After a day even my clothes smell like mold, and you can actually see it everywhere at the base of the wall.
