Sissi House Salerno

We liked everthing. The host was very helpful. Apartment is very cozy and spacy. Big balcony with all equipment. Two bedrooms, large common space with sofa and dining area. Everthing you need in kitchen. Place is very good, 15 minutes by walk to nice promenade by cost, ferry ports to Amalfi coast. Free place for car. Everthing perfecto- you feel like at home:)

The owner is very kind and attentive. He waited for us, reserved us a parking spot (it was full because of New Year's eve) and told us a lot of very useful information. The place is very clean, comfortable and cozy. The apartment is pretty big and the terrace is quite nice. The car can be parked just down the apartment, provided there is a free spot, which seems to be normally the case.

The centre is a 10 minute walk. Not sure if this is a con or a pro though. The secondary room is quite noisy as it is side to the road and there is traffic all night long. The surrounding area is not really nice (but it is safe) and there aren't a lot of shops or restaurants around..

The parking was just a lot with no order, no availability when we first arrived. Too large for two people,the apartment and amenities need some attention to detail.

The apartment was fabulous with lots of space. Free parking, lovely neighbours, and not far to walk into Salerno centre (which was beautiful at night). Good links to major roads for visiting surrounding areas.

The hot water was a bit of a nuisance to get going and keep flowing. You have to turn it all the way to hot (on shower and kitchen tap) then slowly reduce once hot. Repeat if it runs cold. Once you master this, it's not so bad.

Cozy place with a FREE parking SPOT. 15 minutes walk to the old city. Friendly nice host. Perfect location very close to the Port and the city.

Lovely apartment and welcoming people!

There was no Aircon in the bedroom- but it was ok.

The apt is big and comfortable. The owner is easy to reach, helpful an friendly. The neighbours are also very friendly. It's an easy walk both to the center and if one goes in the opposite direction there's a good beach with both paid entrance and a communal part. The neighbourhood is kind of worn out with closed businesses, but there's a good little trattoria with traditional foods close by. The buses in and out of town runs frequently (every 15 minutes or so).

The AC is placed in the living room and it didn't manage to cool down the bedroom. The balcony is nice, but I would have wanted some kind of sun screen during the day. It didn't matter to us, but it's a 15 minute walk to a grocery.

Wonderful, spacious property at a very convenient distance from the city center. It is especially good to have parking available onsite.
