Albergo Il Giardino

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Deluxe-Zimmer und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen geräumig und war sehr sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück bestand aus würzigen und süßen Speisen mit regionalen Produkten. Es war ausreichend vorhanden und hat und sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Anlage ist wirklich schön angerichtet und läd zum entspannen ein. Der Pool ist ein wahrer Traum und wirklich eine gute Abwechslung zum Meer. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilft bei allen Fragen weiter. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

We are travelling by bicycles.it was easy to arrive to Il Giardino. Extremely beutifull garden and quiet area. Good place to watch birds, for example European bee eater. Delicious breakfasts, pizzas and dessert ( tiramisu) in the evening at that restaurant. English speaking and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The nearby village seemed abandoned outside the high season

Nice well maintained place, the room was cute and quite comfortable though not too big. The restaurant is very cosy and pleasant, especially in the evening and they serve decent food. The bread they serve for breakfast and with the meals was just a masterpiece of bread! Olive trees and other green make the place look really charming.

Huge downside - the verandas of the rooms located on the ground floor at the back of the building. Firstly, the chairs were so uncomfortable that it was impossible to sit on them for longer than 15 minutes. Secondly, the light... Ceiling lamps with absolutely blazing, cold light that would turn on automatically at around 7pm and stay on whole night. Instead of a nice evening on a cosy veranda we had to lock ourselves in the room and blind the window to avoid this horrible light. Seriously, as if someone did everything to keep people away from using the terrace.... The swimming pool area was not accessible after 7pm. The shower didn't work properly.

The hotel is great, the staff is very friendly and polite. We stayed 2 days and ate both days in the restaurant - the food is great, especially the pizza. The pool is clean and very nice.

Not a great location if you are going for nightlife or beach vacations. The area nearby seems abandoned.

Nature, building, location not bad

Staff very unpleasant. Did not want to assist anything. They have rules and regulations. Pool has strange working hours. They close pool during day for 2 hours and close finally at 19 hours, but sun still lasts for 2 hours and is VERY warm. When they start preparing for dinner, it is not possible to have coffee. Very strange behavior of staff. I have never seen hotel with nicer looks but very bad staff. Pool boy did not want to do anything. His only job was to tell people to have cap on had during swimming. Hotel is charging for those caps. It is not written on Booking.com that cap is necessary. Also, wifi is not working. On Booking.com is written that wifi is working at all premises. That is not true. We had rooms 52 and 55 and wifi is not working. I asked 5 times and no response except smile from young lady at the reception. Restaurant, very good food for lunch, but waitresses – terrible! They do not understand a thing. They have their vision of how lunch should go and they stick to it 100%. Whatever we wanted, we needed explain for 10 minutes. For breakfast, they have been asking for 10 times which rooms we are coming from. Generally, very bad experience.

Only a one night stay, but within that time I saw people enjoying the swimming pool there was a courtesy bus to the beach area. They staff were friendly and we enjoyed the restaurant garden area with lovely food. Breakfast was also enjoyable.

The door locks, remember that the key can only be taken out of the lock in the horizontal position, it will save your sanity.
