Venice Popular Stay

Extremely sad and the most horrible experience, I took the taxi to the hotel/room it turned out to be in a residential area, with some strange people standing in front, both the taxi driver and I were taken aback, the taxi driver said its a residential area, later it was in complete darkness with nobody around, I was met by an Indian guy who has a funny look and with an interesting door lock which he tried to teach me, when he and I got up to the flat/room, it was smelly, the beds looked funny and hard, like back in time, the smells really drove me off, I especially couldn't handle the smell and the whole weird atmosphere, I told the guy I have to cancel and for a refund, he said its not up to him and that its up to booking.com to arrange everything and that I paid booking.com and not pay to him and that he can't do anything re the refund and it's between me and Booking.com. I demand a refund I did not stay there and cancel on the spot straightaway as it is totally unacceptable room, i cannot be forced to stay in that room as it was so weird smell and arrangement, it is most unreasonable that if the room was totally not to standard that I have to stay there, it would be most unconscionable that I did not stay there and be charged the whole amount, that term is most unreasonable, I can at most accept to deduct an administrative fee and definitely not a full charge!!!! I request also that Booking.com be partly responsible to safeguard its reputation to oversee its vendors to make sure the advertised rooms or whatever they call it is really up to standard, I await your reply regarding refund as I have never stay in this hotel/room/accommodation or whatever they call it!!!!!!! Regards.

Everything, smell, weird decoration, beds, everything in the room is weird, especially smell !!!!!!!!

Location was great. Host answered messages quickly.

Cleanliness was abysmal. Shared bathrooms with braking toilet. I get that the cleanliness depends on the people you share it with, but it should've been cleaned way more often. And also cleaned way more thoroughly. Also shower curtain is not the greatest when sharing a bathroom. That could also been said about the room. And also the walls could use a fresh non-stained paint. And the key to the room was basically a stick, so no security there. Better locks would be quite nice.

Me encantó que estuviera completamente equipado. Lavarropas, plancha, secador de pelo, tendedero, pava eléctrica, todo. Fantástico el servicio y predisposición de Tuhin.

Gostamos do atendimento e da forma como fomos recepcionados. Gostamos também do quarto que é amplo, tem TV, ar condicionado que poderia ser um pouco mais forte e frigobar. Limpeza e organização também foram pontos positivos. Fica próximo do ponto de ônibus, o que facilita muito a locomoção; e o principal que fica em cima de uma padaria, pois tomamos um bom café da manhã.

O único ponto que não gostamos muito foi o banheiro ser compartilhado, mas isso já está no anúncio e por ele ter uma cortina na banheira, isso pra mim foi complicado porque molhou muito o banheiro. A região no período da noite não tem muito movimento, mas é só ter atenção e cuidado.
