Bee Cottage Negombo

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. A short ride from/ to the airport. Thank you, Bee Cottage.

I would wholly recommend a stay at Bee cottage. My sister and I arrived as guests and definitely left as friends. The cottage is well appointed comfortable and equipped. The hosts are there for you at anytime and are extremely helpful. They helped sort approval for driving licence and car hire. We had a weekend away to the mountains to visit the Elephant sanctuary and they text us a few times just to see if we where OK. If you are looking for a home from home you will find it at Bee Cottage.

It’s a lovely place that feels like a home away from home, but with the hospitality of a hotel. The owners took good care of me and the property. You can ask them for anything any time. I’ll book again when in Negombo.

For us, Bee Cottage felt like a Home away from home. We spent two nights and it was the best decision to book this. It is very close to the airport (we went there three times to drop my mother off and for our own flight two days later and every time it took only around 20 to 25 minutes) and we were glad about the washing mashine to do our laundry after two weeks of travelling. One of the highlights is of course the pool, which is perfect to relax (even when it's raining :)). My other favourite was the outside bathroom, which is just great. The couple who manages the cottage, is lovely. The two are discreet and pleasant people who are always available and put their heart and soul into the vacation home. The contact in advance was not intrusive, as I have experienced in other accommodations, but very polite and helpful. The entire facility and equipment is thought out to the smallest detail, we have lacked nothing and the breakfast is insane! Our stay at Bee Cottage in Negombo was outstanding. It's spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a kitchen which we used for making tea and coffee, and a private pool for relaxation. However, what sets it apart is the incredible host who welcomed us with treats and cooked us a delicious dinner. The care and warmth made our stay outstanding. If i could change anything about our Sri Lanka trip it would be to spend a few more nights here to unwind before leaving. It's a solid 10 out of 10, and we'll definitely return if we come back to Sri Lanka. 🐝

The owner was amazing. She picked us up at the airport, waited there for an hour, because we were late. On the way home they bought us coconuts. We had a welcome coffee/tee. She was extra caring, making sure that we are okay, even texted us if we reached our next destination safely. And the place is also great. A whole house for youself (and pool)

My husband and I stayed one week at the Bee Cottage. It was a great experience for us. We really enjoyed the fresh breakfast served to us every morning. The cottage was stocked with just about everything you might need. It was very clean and organized. It has a beautiful garden with fresh foods to enjoy along with a small fish pond. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They were always available if we needed anything. The wifi worked great the whole time we stayed. There is also a pair of pedal bikes available if you want to go for a ride. This cottage is close enough to the main road to get around quickly. I think the best part of our stay was having a private pool just outside the front door! The parking was easy and the property is gated. I would definitely recommend this property for any length of stay.

We found this accommodation at the last minute after leaving our booked accommodation which did not meet our expectations. At first, we were skeptical, due to small number of reviews, as the owners opened the accommodation only recently. Upon arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised, the pool was very refreshing after a long and stressfull day. Everything was new and clean, AC was working, the owners were very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was simply perfect. The best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far, I definitely recommend.
