Marari Bobans villa

My friends and I thought to spend some quiet days at the conclusion of our trip in India and we could not find a better place than Marari Bobans villa! Sanjit and his family were exceptionally nice to guarantee a comfortable stay in their guesthouse. The rooms have AC and are clean. They cooked for us lunch and dinner and the food was very tasty and freshly made. There is a small hidden beach at 5 minutes walking from the guesthouse where you can relax. I recommend to follow the backwater tour organized by Sanjit in Kumarakom. He planned a no-touristic visit of local activities during the tour. I think it is a good place for who likes nature and local homestays.

I had an amazing stay at Boban's villa that exceeded all my expectations. I felt welcomed immediately. First of all, the accommodation and garden are beautiful and there are many lovely details that make it really cozy. Its modernly furnished and really very clean. The home-cooked meals are also so delicious. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. But what really made this stay so special for me was the incredible hospitality of the host and his family. Sajith, the host, organized such special trips, for example a boat trip at sunrise or a visit to a local festival, which were outstanding experiences for me and gave me an authentic insight into life here. He took care of everything so that I had the best time in Kerala and helped me with every problem or question in a very pleasant and helpful way. I couldn't have wished for anything more. Especially as a woman traveling alone, I would like to emphasize that I felt very safe. Without any doubt, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this homestay. I am truly sad to leave this place that felt like home for a few days, and I am also deeply grateful for my stay there and for meeting such good-hearted people. Thank you for everything.

It was perfect! Sajith is always there for you. He helped me a lot with everything and made it so much simpler as a solo traveler. He borrowed me his bicycle, took me to places. He made the stay just amazing! He was always there if I had any questions. You have a beautiful empty beach just nearby as well. The location is a bit outside, calm, makes it harder to get some food but all the restaurants in this area are made for take outs and not to stay in. I would have stayed even longer but already had some plans afterwards. Sajith, thank you 🙏🏽

I stayed here during the last week of December 2024. The property is well maintained, neat and hygienic The ambience is too good and excellent hospitality from the host. Homely food is served here. It is located nearest to Marari beach. The price is very reasonable. My one day stay at the property was really a memorable one.

Good place to spend time with family in peace. Food served for breakfast as complimentary was amazing. The homestay owners are very friendly and gentle. I love this place.
