Marari Bobans villa

We spent 4 nights at Marari Bobans Villa and enjoyed our stay. This is an amazing find. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. Sajith and his family were welcoming. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Villa the meals were incredible. The area is not touristy so the beach which is 5 minuets stroll away is unspoilt. Small shop in front of the villa to buy water and drinks. Marari beach is a short drive, this is ideal if you want more on your beach (toilets, cafe, places to eat) Sajith is so helpful and arranged our airport pick up etc. great place to switch off and relax!! We highly recommended

Good tasty food and peace atmosphere

The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of you and your staff from the planing stage till the end of our retreat.

The beach is a 5 minute walk away. It's an emerald tree lined beach. It's in a small village with mainly fishermen and their families who are humble and kind. Your first glimpse of the beach is stunning. It's a Gem, a Haven with cornflower blue painted fishing boats and nearly white sands. The sunrise and sunsets are magnificent, they will inspire you. Everything from using an auto rickshaw, buying water, food or hiring scooters are very cheap. The room is basic but clean My review is mainly about the family at Marari Bobbins. The rooms are clean and all your needs are met immediately. This family showed me Kerala to the fullest. They took me to the most amazing places. I rode elephants and visited the famous Snake Temple which is over a thousand years old and a long way from my homestead. Sajith spent whole days taking me on tours of temples, famous old churches, rice fields and many other sights. His sister Soumya took me to the famous Kochi market which will take you hours to discover. It is so big and colourful. Not to be missed. They treated me like part of the family and invited me to church every Sunday . They did all this for free, asking nothing in return only asking for petrol money etc. They brought me delicious Kerala dishes 3 times a day. ( My bill was very cheap) And mama made me delicious masala chai all day. I was a lone traveller and didn't plan my journey very well for my long 1 month stay there. I got into financial difficulties with my bank card and Sajith gave me money until it was resolved. These people are so kind. When l needed to go home Sajith drove me to Cochin my airport town and arranged for a wonderful new homestead to stay in till l got my flight. Thank you Marari Bobbins for the best holiday I have ever had and for showing me such kindness. I will be returning next year.

It may be isolated for some people but that's what l loved.

Very welcoming host

Very nice, clean room and great bathroom, close to the beach, the owners are a cute family which is very caring. I had nice breakfast and fantastic dinner. Definitely would come back.

The location - but it depends. If you want quiet place than it’s perfect. But there’s not much to do. Perfect for some quiet times tho.
