The Newbridge Hotel

Friendly staff and the bacon roll at their cafe was delicious. Dog friendly. Good room size and the location was good for getting to places such as Cardiff. The cost of the room wasn't bad at all for three nights.

I have osteoarthritis in my hip so the room being at the top of the building was not great. Internet access probably the worst I have ever experienced. Kept crashing and I was trying to finish a university assessment for submission. The staff said it was the same in the bar area. Sorry, but in this day and age, travellers do expect the WiFi to be a good standard. Sadly, this could be preventing a lot of return business. Parking hit and miss outside the hotel but a free car park wasn't far.

Leuke pub zit erbij! Voor de rest zijn de kamers vrij groot en is de prijs kwaliteitsverhouding prima met ontbijt erbij. Uiteraard is hier een Engels ontbijt die word geserveerd. Ook in de buurt zijn nog een aantal eet gelegenheden. Het hotel heeft ook veel charme zowel binnen als buiten.

Kamers zijn een beetje gedateerd maar dat is ook vaak wel de stijl hier.
