NZThe house was warm and bright,lovely and peaceful with beautiful bird song and bush. Everything we needed for our family of four.
We didn't like the fact that on our last day we were contacted over some missing towels,the holiday went down hill from there and the thought that we had taken them ruined our lovely holiday. I was contacted four days later to find out the towels were there all along.
NZNZWas a gorgeous little spot located with its own shared private bay area. Was awesome havign access to the kayaks as we were able to openly explore what we may have missed otherwise. Felt so safe and secure plus the kitchen facilities were absolutuley perfect for what we needed.
didn't want to leave :( , however, one downfall is the cost of transport between Russell and Paihia - if you are doing lots of activities in Paihia - more often for touristy destinations ect - the ferry is the quickest option however is at least $18 per ride.
GBNZGBThe views in this place are phenomenal! We loved the rustic feel of the place, how personal it was and the artwork. Lynda was extremely warm and welcoming and was easily contactable. The beds were so comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful. We'd stay here again without doubt.
Nothing really, it was excellent. I suppose just a heads up/to be aware that the beach access is super steep but well worth it!
GBAs soon as you come into the drive you realise that this will be a wonderful place to stay. The views across to Russell and out to the bay are spectacular and it is hard to drag yourself away. The space is great - very roomy, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of outside space. The main bedroom was also spacious with a comfy bed and a great balcony… and the view!! Having access to the pool and kayaks was a real bonus. We would definitely recommend it.
