BABIL ANTIQUE HOTEL

Lovely, super cozy stone cellar room, with a bath! Breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Location is great, and staff extremely friendly. Our taxi dropped us off at another unrelated hotel that also had Babil in the name, when it became clear we were wrong, taxi had left and we started the 10 minute walk to the actual hotel, but apparently they called each other and we were met halfway by a staff member on a motorbike who transported our luggage for us :-)

The host of this hotel gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. He helped us with everything we needed and gave us very good advice on the city and where to eat. The breakfast was the best we had in turkey so far. Would recommend this to everybody

Our second stay here. A fantastic revamped ancient building in the middle if the old town. Beautiful building. Central to everything. Lovely shops and restaurants all around. Friendly staff. The breakfast lady was such a gem. Lovely breakfast

Bedroom was very small and awkwardly laid out, with the bed shoved into one end of the narrow room, accessible only from one side.

Breakfast was the best out of 4 hotels we had been through, fresh and tasty. Staff are truly warm, welcoming and lovely. The hotel is a really beautiful, ancient building in a really interesting area.

Our stay at Babil Antique Hotel, which beautifully reflects the historical spirit of Şanlıurfa, was absolutely wonderful. The hotel's stone architecture and thoughtfully decorated rooms made us feel as if we had stepped back in time. The rooms were very clean, especially the bed linens. Thanks to the warm hospitality and friendliness of the staff, we truly felt at home. Special thanks to Mr. Mehmet and his team for their exceptional attention. The breakfast was enriched with local delicacies and freshly prepared each morning. The hotel’s location—within walking distance of Balıklıgöl and the historic bazaar—made exploring the city very easy. Complimentary tea and coffee served in the courtyard were a lovely touch that we greatly appreciated.

As a small suggestion, having a bit more storage space in the rooms would improve comfort, and the towels were a bit worn. However, overall, our experience at Babil Antique Hotel was unforgettable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Şanlıurfa.
