Great Buda Apartman

I had a great stay in this apartment! It’s located in a quiet, green neighbourhood — close to the metro, but far from the crowds. Inside, the apartment has literally everything you might need to feel at home: iron and ironing board, hairdryer, towels, cookware, cutlery, stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher (with capsules provided!), even a washing machine and a rack to dry washed clothes. The kitchen cupboards are stocked with essentials like oil, spices, coffee and tea — a real bonus for any traveller. The design is pleasant, there's enough furniture, and the photos are accurate. Check-in was smooth, and so was check-out.

Honestly, for its price, this flat is far better than most places I’ve rented as a frequent traveller. That said, a few things could still be improved. It would be helpful to have fewer dust collectors like soft toys and figurines — these can be tough for people with allergies (at least I had some reaction). I’d also appreciate some basic toiletries in the bathroom (at least a shower gel). The washing powder box was empty — I’m not sure if it’s normally provided, but I believe it should be. And finally, the kettle was quite dirty and covered in limescale — it took me a while to clean it properly so I could enjoy a cup of tea without any flakes floating around.

Good space and amenities. The host was a very nice and accommodating person.

Excellent place! One of the rare accommodation having toilet with windows... it makes the ventilation quicker and very convenient (don't worry, the window does not have a transparent glass - privacy is assured!) - that is something I liked very much! The toilet (WC) is in the same room with the shower that has a long hose which is also very convinient for washing back while you are sitting on the toilet (some people have health issues not alowing them to use toilet paper). The owner made very clear textual and video instructions how to find and get into the appartment. He was also very helpful by calling me on WhatsApp and giving instructions how exactly to turn on the room heating - kind of a gas convector, but I never used one. Actually it's quite simple once they show you how it works. The appartment was very clean, commofrtable, visually nice (though I prefer white color on walls, but that's just me), the owner obviuosly has a very good taste for the interior. It has also microwave, laundry washer, fridge, oven... very convinient. Even some spices in the kitchen (if you are cooking). Wifi internet was also excellent. The accommodation is on the lovely green Buda side of Budapest, only 2 bust stops (8-10 minute walk) from the metro station (M4 line, that takes you to the Keleti Train Station) and 1 minute walk from the main street, which nearby (5-6 minutes walk) has exchange office(works only Mo-Fri), lot of shops and small restaurants (Chineese, Pakistani, also a Hungarian cheap but delicious cake and pastery shop). The Fehérvári út green market is 10 minutes walk (or 2 bus stops away) with sellers of lovely acacia natural honey, raspberries and other tasty fruits and vegetables, and cheap but delicious takeaway hungarian food restaurants on the second floor. Apartment is also only few minutes walk from the lovely Fenektelen tó park (a small but lovely lake).

No elevator, but this is not the owners fault. Simply the building was constructed like that. It's just I had anemia and a big luggage, so it took me awhile to get to the 2nd floor (3rd if you count it the american way). Not really an issue, but there was an interesting clock on the wall in the kitchen, however the battery probably ran out of power, so it was not functioning. If the clock is there, it would be nice if it would function showing the correct time.

Good communication from owner. A few minutes walk to regular tram to centre. Comfortable, quiet apartment with everything you need and all working. Good wifi, and a few english tv channels.

There was nothing l didn,t like but the property inside and out is in need of renovation, just old. Absolitely no problem, l would return but other reviewers had me thinking l was coming to some sort of palace :) which its not.

Good-sized, well equipped, clean, nicely decorated apartment in the heart of Buda within walking distance of the lovely pond, tram / bus stops and metro station. Really comfy bed, aircon, blackout blinds, big tv with all the satellite channels, fast internet, amazing shower and all the utensils in the kitchen you may need plus washing machine. Attila is such a nice host, he responded to all our questions in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

It was very clean, and silent. No traffic noise. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Easy access and parking was also very easy in the Vinceller street. Host Attila was very helpful.
