De ligging, ligging en nog eens ligging ! Fantastisch en de bijbehorende rust. Uniek! Het is een huis wat al paar generaties in familie is en we begrijpen dat dit instant gehouden wil worden. Het was er schoon en goed onderhouden. Aardige verhuurder.

Meubilair was niet heel comfortabel. Vooral de eetstoelen in de kamer zakten door. Het is gedateerd. Wat ons wel opviel is dat er 35 bladzijden aan info was met huisregels, tips en suggesties voor omgeving. Dit viel ff zwaar. Niet door te komen die lappen text. Misschien beter om het te vereenvoudigen en puntsgewijs aan te geven.

"A hidden gem in the Scottish highlands."

The location whilst remote was superb and very atmospheric. Exactly what we were looking for! I expected a cottage this far north in the Scottish highlands to be chilly and perhaps a little damp but it was NOT, the owner Donald has made sure the whole accommodation is warm and cosy and easy to control. The views from the location are magical.

"Un site sublime coupé du monde dans un environnement magnifique"

La propriété est absolument sublime et Donald est très sympathique et laisse de multiples conseils très utiles.

La cuisine mérite d'être rafraîchie et mieux équipée. Il est dommage de couvrir toutes les surfaces en bois de plastique marron. Il ne faut pas grand chose pour rendre le rez-de-chaussée un peu plus cosy et ce sera alors vraiment le paradis !

Die Lage ist sehr schön.

Der Eigentümer nervt mit einem engbeschriebenen 18-seitigen Verhaltenskodex in dem man die wirklich wichtigen Sachen kaum findet ( Code der Schlüsselbox). Die Hygienevorstellungen des Vermieters sind inakzeptabel. Das Badezimmer ist mit Teppichboden ausgelegt, alle Ablagen, selbst der Esstisch, mit einem ekelhaften Kunsstoffmaterial belegt. Das Material der Küchenausstattung ermöglicht kein angenehmes Kochen.
