FRWonderful stay and great hosts! Davide and his wife waited for me to hand over the keys. They even gave some recommendations about the neighborhood. The apartment is great and exceeded my expectations. It is super clean and has everything you need (fully-staffed kitchen, big bathroom with washer, comfortable bed, etc.). The location is very central but still quiet. I was able to do everything by foot. Highly recommended!
NLWe came from the Train station and the host met us on the way to the apartment. It's in a back-alley in they old town so can be hard to find. He was very friendly, showed us around a bit, and also gave us some tips on what we could do. The apartment is spacious with ample room for 4 people. Good cooking facilities as well. There is no view to speak of since it is in an alley, but that's ok. The harbor is just a stones throw away.
The apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. If was fine for us, but it's good to know.
LTExcellent stay, place is as shown in the photos and we did not lack anything. Cosy for hanging out in the evening, although wifi is a bit weak for any streaming on TV. Worth nothing that it requires climbing steep stairs. Friendly and helpful host! Thanks!!
GBThe location was perfect for visiting all the attractions of Genoa. This part of the old town is a little 'edgy' but we liked it as it was truly urban - multicultural, lively, and with lots of street life. It did not feel in any way dangerous and was remarkably quiet. The smiles from people in the street were very friendly and we had many spontanous conversations.
I have advised our lovely host of this and he has agreed and will address this. The only thing lacking in an otherwise very well equipped apartment wsas a small table on which to place drinks while sitting on the sofa.
