GBVery close to the airport (9 min drive) but also within walking distance to places within Kuta. Bed was very comfortable, felt safe there and lovely staff! It was a perfect place and would recommend staying here. It was also clean with AC and the pool is as pictured, although it rained so we didn’t use it!

AUCarstenzs home is like a cross between B&B and a small hotel. The place was very clean, the staff were exceptionally good and attentive to my needs. The bed was comfortable. Located down a quiet back street in a quiet location only a few minutes away from the airport.
unfortunately the facilities let this place down badly. The towel rail fell of the wall, the TV didn't work and the smell of the bathroom was extremely bad and hit you in the face when you opened the bathroom door. smelly bathrooms is a common issue in Indonesia, I assume it came from the drains. I will say the bathroom was very clean and I there was no mold or hygiene issue it was just smell.

ESThis is by far the cleanest room and cleanest bathroom I have used in Indonesia! Everything is brand new and in great condition. Even the small room is very spacious. The staff were very nice. I have only great words about this place :)
I had to use the address of the hotel next door for navigation and request of Grab. The light switch is a bit far from the bed. These two things didn't bother me too much but worth mentioning for potential improvement.
