East Bench Bungalow A Relaxing Ogden Escape Near Mountains and Downtown

Very clean and nicely decorated

It was a really nice comfortable cozy home in a quiet neighborhood. We loved everything about it-from the interior decor, the comfy bed, the kitchen space with everything you needed and great location with an easy drive to downtown and up to Snowbasin.

Not a thing!

Had use of an entire house that was very well remodeled and decorated. Everything worked well and the appliances were high quality. NO problems experienced during the week-long stay. The high level of conveniences, decorating, furnishings, and kitchen equipment and provisions made it obvious that the focus was our comfort and well-being.

That we had not arranged for more time there. The only annoying thing we encountered was the cloying scent from the incense sticks in the bathroom.

I probably didn't read through the instructions closely enough, but it took us some time to realize that we needed to enter through the back door, not the front door. Coffee maker is a Keurig, FYI in case you want to bring your favorite Pods. However, there was a large variety of Pods available for our use! Beds were super comfortable, towels were luxurious, wine glasses were top notch, plates and bowls were quality - no expense was spared! This was probably the best AirBnB that we have every stayed in. Everything we needed was there, great location. Loved that it was close to the trails for walking and running. We will definitely try to rent this house again, if it's available.

There was nothing that we didn't like, it was perfect.

What we liked: -The home was beautiful and cozy -Location was in a peaceful part of Ogden and close to activites and places to explore -It was clean and lots of light which made the space bright. -There were some lots of towels and plenty of amenities for our one week stay -The appliances were new and worked great for our cooking needs -The communication was fairly quick, within 30 minutes for the quick responses and 2 hours for the longer responses -Long driveway and private entrance -Lots of board games and puzzles to keep us entertained -Clear rules and instructions for our stay that weren't overwhelming but they were direct -The booking process was simple and was an easy process for it being my first time. -Lots of storage in the bathroom for personal items -Plenty of storage in the fridge if you were wanting to cook -The door code was convenient and we didnt have to worry about a key

-The driveway was long and we had two cars. Somedays we wanted to drive the car in the front of the line so we had to back out both cars in order to drive that car around. It just made switching vehicles difficult. The dip in the driveway is deep so you can bottom out if you don't angle your car the right way (which happened a couple times but that's our fault). -The communication was missing at some points. It snowed one day during our stay. We woke up and found out people had scraped the driveway and back porch area. We were grateful but do wish the homeowners would've told us that would be happening. It was unsettling to find out people had been on the property without our knowledge. We had also found our personal items in different places when we would come back from events which was odd. We dont mind if the owners wanted to check things out or had to grab something from their home but a message letting us know what was going on would be nice instead of finding our items in different places. Nothing was missing but personal items were moved around. -The homes are close together so if you decide to have the shutters open, the neighbors can see into the home -The rug that goes into the master bedroom kept slipping and tugging under the door, having a non slip rug would be better for that area -Having a hamper would be nice for long stays. We stayed for a week and our dirty clothes started to accumulate but there were only hangers in the closet. We had our clean clothes hanging and the dirty clothes in a pile on the ground to make things work. -We did have a hard time setting up the tv in the living room. It was connected to the internet, it just had trouble connecting to the router. I brought up the issue with the owner and I had no response but after the next day or two it fixed itself. -The breaker went off when we used the microwave and coffee machine at the same time. It cut off power to part of the house that included the fridge.

The property was amazing quiet and peaceful!

Spotless! Bed was extremely comfortable and the place was decorated nicely ♥️ Booking was easy and convenient.

East Bench Bungalow was lovely. Well appointed, very comfortable, had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, good location for what we wanted to do (and it had Hummingbirds in the garden, such a thrill) We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Nothing

From the moment we drove up to the property we commented on how nice and well kept the grounds were. The front porch looked inviting, the driveway looked freshly sweated, and the grass looked freshly cut. When we stepped inside we were very impressed at how clean the house was! We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and hotels and this was superb! The house smelled amazing, it was organized, and had all the amenities we needed.

The rug in the queen size room under the bed was slippery which we found out the hard way when our little one fell. It wasn’t a biggie so we tucked the rug under the bed so nobody else slipped and fell. We put the rug back the way it originally was prior to our check out.

It was a good area. Clean. Games were nice for the child.

I wish there were dressers. I don't hang everything.
