Boheme Beach Houses

View is magnificent, and the interior design was full of nice touches. We visited in the middle of August and the air conditioning was a quiet hero. Katerina was friendly and flexible with our arrival and departure times. This is a nice stay if you're happy chilling on Elia's beaches for the day, then escaping up the hill to enjoy the view. The apartment itself is quiet and well insulated, but if you do want to hear the bass thump from the hotel bar over the other side of the valley, you can sit on the balcony and watch the sun set.

I know this is Mykonos, but value for money is a sticking point given the secluded location and lack of essentials: the kitchen isn't stocked at all - no oil, vinegar, salt or spices. Transfers were priced at €50 each way. I'd expect these to be included from any place charging in excess of £200/night. The space, while nicely styled, has some practical issues: appliances need to be moved in order to cook and prepare food, the kitchen tap kept snagging against the wall, and the fridge was missing some racks. Be prepared to plan ahead for markets and transport if you want to prepare meals in the kitchen, unless you're hiring a car. The nearest supermarket is 4km away and the walk isn't flat or particularly safe.
