Sigiri Birds Hostel

The owners of the hostel were so sweet and helpful with everything! Such a nice little family. The place is very central and in walking distance to Lions rock and some nice restaurants. Also their own restaurant is really good! I especially loved their backyard. It was really green and a nice quiet place. I definitely recommend staying there.

Initially i booked this hostel for only one day but when i arrived the host were the two couple and their two children they welcomed me just like my own family in India so I extended the stay for 2 more days. Also rooms were cleaned every day and washroom was neat and clean with hot shower. Nimishika and her husband Both were really nice and they helped me in everything her husband took me on his scooty for my money Exchange and to a telecom shop for my data pack. Also nimishika is really good cook. She makes really good food. I recommend this hostel for sure..

Nimeshika et Nuwan sont adorables, on se sent comme à la maison. Ils vous aideront à vous orienter et vous organiser. La cuisine de Nimeshika est très bonne. Si vous avez de la chance vous pouvez même apercevoir un éléphant ou deux au fond du jardin !

It is a family owned hostel. The husband and wife were really nice. They will help you go around and recommend places to go to.

There should be a rack to put towel for drying. Additional fan will be nice as well.

Absolutely gorgeous location, really feels like your in the jungle hearing the birds and even spotting a monkey on the roof one afternoon. The hostel is very warm and welcoming in a tranquil location.

I came here to sleep but got the most amazing experience with the family and extended my stay for two nights! They are so lovely, helpful and kind. Thanks to them I got to see lots of elephants after they organized a safari for me. They also showed me around town and I got to see how traditional dishes are prepared. The rooms are simple and have everything you need. No bunk beds! Overall highly recommend.

Emplacement idéal! Chambre classique sans clim dans un très joli jardin. Chouette petite famille, très à l'écoute et ultra disponible, grace à eux on a pu découvrir ce merveilleux triangle culturel, son mari a un tuktuk et peut vous conduire partout (moyennement un supplément hyper abordable). On a pu profiter à fond et se déconnecter à 100%. En plus elle parle parfaitement anglais et connait les bons tuyaux alors que cela fait seulement 5 mois qu'ils ont ouvert leur hostel. Si vous voulez de la tranquillité et de la bienveillance c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut. Je recommande vivement . Encore merci pour tout Nimeshika et Nuwan.
