Astoria Hotel North

Sadly not a lot of good to say, the location was fine, staff (specifically reception) were friendly. Affordable.

For starters, my door did NOT shut all the way, had to press a chair up against it so it would stay shut, the deadbolt latch didnt fully work either. My curtains were safety pinned together as well and someone tall enough couldve peeked in. This place was pretty gross, cigarette burns in the sheets and unwashed pillowcases (they had an odor). The bathroom was unkempt, the tub looked like someone poured ink in it. The A/C had pieces of food and junk in it. People were loud at night and fighting in the mornings, shouting at one another for hours right around 6-7am. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, and photos of the room are completely dated. I am beyond unimpressed with this place. Was in town for a wedding and it was the quickest and cheapest option, I heavily regret it.

The room was very dirty. Carpet was stained all around, tub was dirty,had to clean it before we could use it. Towels had hair on them,walls were dirty,no remote,only half of the lights worked. The drapes had a huge hole in them.

I didn’t . The first hr that I checked in . I had to go buy my own cleaning supplies and deep clean the room and had to ask for clean sheets cause apparently they just flipped the sheets inside and thought that was sanitize.. I had to scrubs restroom which was disgusting . I would NOT RECOMMEND..!!

Everything . It’s dirty and unsanitary. No wonder it said NO REFUNDS 15 mins after check in

My original check was a disaster after being told there was no room available after I had booked online However the overnight man that came in got everything straight for me and got me my room for two days.Thank you very much I will definitely come back.

The person that worked the shift that was until 9pm or so.He needs more training.
