Beautiful area, nice traditional house adapted to offer comfort and utility.

The bathroom is a bit small and there was no recycle bin in it, but other than that, the accommodation is very nice.

The house was small but cosy, located in a beautiful area. Quite remote, but still not too far from a village or a store. Do not expect luxury: the equipment is basic. But the place is really beautiful and quiet, in nature, close to walking trails and woods. A great hideaway in beautiful surroundings. The host was very friendly and communicative, and showed us where to find the key. he had prepared wood for the wood stoves, and everything was really easy and agreeable.

We stayed there late October/beginning November, and the only way to heat the house is with the two wood stoves. These work very well and the owner had supplied us with wood, but it might be nice to also have some other way of heating, like electric, so one does not have to keep the wood stoves going all the time. In summer this would not be a point of course. The water that came out of the tap looked very red and tasted bitter. From a well? The high iron content does not necessarily mean it is not suitable for drinking, but we did not drink it. I don't know if that can be improved with a filtering system of some sort. We brought bottled water to drink.

The property is surrounded by 2 streams of water, and has plnety of grass, trees, which made us feel very close to nature. It's close to Belis, which is also a plus. The owner gave us some honey potatoes, bottles of water. Much appreciated!

We gave some improvement ideas to the owner and he was very happy to integrate them!

We've had a warm welcome with partly heated rooms, hot tea, water and we also got some homemade food. The place was homelike with comfortable beds, beautiful environment and view. The place has good potential and I'm sure the owner will do his best to remedy the cons which I've listed below.

Coffee maker was missing, it wasn't entirely pet-friendly (conditions were not specified on the site), no WiFi (not necessarily a bad thing, but we brought laptops because we thought there was), the yard was untended and had some plastic trash here and there. Also some windows were partly broken.

Magic place in the heart of the forrest. We will come back soon.
