Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection

Ładnie położony hotel na zboczu góry, imponujące widoki wokół. Starodawny styl, który nadawał klimat. Ciepłe powitanie. Duży prysznic i cieplutka woda;) wielkie wygodne łóżko.

Woda w basenie była zimna (jednak wysokie położenie robi swoje), jedzenie było dobre, ale nie idealne, czasami chłodne (ale nie był to większy problem). Dosyć kiepski kontakt przed przyjazdem, pisałam 3 razy bez odpowiedzi.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountbatten Bungalow. The location, above the busyness of Kandy, was so peaceful and secluded yet only a 15 minute drive into town. I was concerned that it might have been affected by the cyclone but I’m pleased to say it was in perfect working order. I believe they have a generator too which kicked in a couple of times during power outages. Our two young children loved the grounds and the staff were all incredible. I didn’t take everyone’s name and they all deserve a shoutout but Sagara provided very calm, kind and attentive service. Our kids accidentally knocked over a vase and no issue was made of it. I’d 100% recommend staying here if visiting Kandy. The bungalow suite is also great for a family of 4. Very spacious.

If I were to say one negative, it would be that maybe the mattress could do with an upgrade in the Rose suite. We don’t find it overly comfortable. But it didn’t detract from our stay.

Location and in the tea estate

There's a sense of calm that comes over you as soon as you arrive at the Bungalow. There is a really intimate feel about the place with only a handful of rooms. Thulan and the whole team delivered the most exceptional service I've ever experienced. The location is beautiful and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend.

Bonito hotel, con buen servicio del personal. Estuvimos una sola noche ya que estamos de paso y fue una estancia agradable.

The grounds and the facilities are perfect. The chalet rooms are excellent and give you the feeling of being in the jungle. The staff, especially Chulan, are superb and happily arranged tours and hikes. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Nothing bad to say at all

The property was stunning and staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful during our stay. A lot of attention to detail was made which made our stay very relaxing. We felt the service was very personalised. Even the guided tour of the Pekoe Trails was organised by the property and coordinated prior to the stay. Overall we really had a relaxing vacation which was what we were looking forward to.
