Mount Jumbo Lookout

The house was pretty, the view was beautiful.

Fan in back room squeeked all night which made it difficult to sleep. Didn't get code provided to me beforehand which made it difficult to get into the place bc phone died on the way up. Coffee provided but no creamer or sugar so can't have coffee. House temperature was 75 degrees when we got there and it took 4 hours to cool off. We had a show to go to and as women getting ready it's hard to do in a house that is 75 degrees, you can't cool off. The beds are supppeerrrr uncomfortable, except foe the big bed upstairs. For the price we paid you would expect mattresses that you could sleep on. The mattresses were not good quality and felt like sleeping on springs. My son slept with me on the double mattress in the back room because the single beds he just couldn't sleep on. The double mattress sinks into the middle. I'm picky with where I stay and thought for this price the amenities would be great and they just weren't, that was a disappointment.

The property was beautiful and perfect for our 2 nights. There were 6 of us and it comfortably slept all of us. The inside was spectacular.

There were a few things that were missing…. We could have used more towels, a microwave in the kitchen and a mirror in the 3rd floor bathroom. Even a mirror on the wall in the bedroom would have helped.

Good experience for our first B&B experience!

Water heat & pressure but, the staff came and fixed our problem right away.
