The boutique hotel is nicely designed with its Japanese-styled with good facilities and compact interior designs with a window view overlooking a Japanese Zen garden. The Japanese breakfast set the next morning is sumptuous too, except the portion was a bit small. However, it was nice to be given a complimentary high tea with freshly made strawberry mochi.

The price of the hotel room advertised in Booking.com did not indicate clearly a taxable amount of SST charges statement, which is essential for the customer to know. It is understandable that this taxable amount is required, however it should be included as a clear statement “8% SST government tax is required”. Apart from this, there is a leak at the bathroom tempered glass wall whenever after shower, causing the bathroom floor to be wet.

Good complimentary welcome tea and breakfast. Great value and great range. Garden view was also pleasant and bathroom was large and set up well. Staff were all great and service was pleasant.

Some cosmetic wear and tear present - black stains on bedsheet, fridge was noisy, room structure made it a little bit cramp and difficult to move around with luggage present. Bathroom odour when fan is not on.

My room mini bar was down and sent for repair, hence I didn’t have a mini bar to store my drinks. But I guess this is just coincidental

Clean and friendly staff. They also offer complimentary breakfast, tea set and supper which lots of other boutique hotels do not have.
