Little Chapel House

Absolutely horrible experience. WE SLEPT IN THE CAR. FILTHLY DISGUSTING HOUSE, STINKS OF URINE AND WET DOG. OWNER IS HARRASSING ME I expect a full refund; The house was filthy, stank of urine, and we did not stay more than 10 minutes. The booking was not able to be cancelled once the time of the stay started. and there is no one to call to speak with. I spent hours trying to get through and left a message for an AI customer service representative. WE SLEPT IN THE CAR BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS DISGUSTING; FILTHY AND SMELLED OF URINE AND WET DOG. I have emailed booking.com many times and received no reply. The owner is refusing to refund my money because I did not "cancel the booking" website did not allow me to cancel. I am disputing the charges with my bank, and will never use your services again. I will post this horrible experience extensively.

Delightful, quirky cottage. Excellent facilities. Very clean and well presented. Excellent correspondence from owner prior to visit.

Very small, but cosy. Unable to operate newly installed heating system. May be ‘operator’ error!

The cottage is in a beautiful location, and is well equipped and very clean. The host is very responsive.

It was so cold and the door was hard to open but apparently it was getting fixed soon Plus shower did not work even after having immersion heater on

Lovely quaint setting with a fabulous view

Beautiful cosy cottage, location was perfect. Gorgeous sea views. Amazing log burner which was one of the highlights of our stay. Bed extremely comfortable, lovely and warm. Kitchen was perfect and did some lovely cooking during our stay. Sky TV was really entertaining and simple to use... WiFi was strong and stable. Would definitely use again.

No access to a bin. Kitchen bin was extremely tiny and no where to put rubbish out upon leaving.

Location was excellent and the place was great for just chilling out and allowed us to get to the beach and back in our wetsuits (Which was all in the plan!) As male and female friends who travel together but are not a couple, the two double bedrooms were just the job. The furnishings were cosy and comfortable and the log burner was nice to sit Infront of to read. There is a huge TV but we only turned it on once in 4 days. As I said, a great place to just chill. Communication was spot on and they even set the fire and left us some beers in the fridge. A lovely little place which I would happily return to. Thanks for your hospitality.

The place seems to only have been available fairly recently so there are some small things that need attention. A broken plug socket and a front door that is not easy to lock but these things are trivial and our visit was late in the year so I'm sure the guys will have them sorted soon.
