"Over priced, customer service has been lost completely. Will not stay again…..ever."

Bed was semi comfortable, spa bath enjoyable once you manage to fill up using just the shower outlet as the switch to bath tap didn’t seem to work.

Front reception not very friendly, I managed to force a smile out of her once I smiled at her. The whole experience seemed like the host didn’t like looking after customers. The room apparently wasn’t ready (at 9pm) needed pillows and when I used the shower straight away I noticed there were 2 long hairs in the bath (not what I’d expect after a cleaner has been) also there was no soap and no iron (but there was an ironing board) - I asked for soap and the iron were both brought in along with the pillows. (Apparently irons get dropped often so available only on request). A big one - there were 2 very unwelcoming signs in the room - one stating that if wishes used are not washed there will be a charge! (Never seen that in my life) Also another sign saying if you stain a towel with Makeup etc there will be a charge! All so unwelcoming! Later I noticed I did not have the WiFi password and there was no information of services left in the room (highly unusual). Thanks to another person’s review I discovered the WiFi password on the office window. -Customers should not need to go out of their way for a service included in the price of the room! And finally “cable tv” available - hardly it’s just Freeview ONLY. I was asked when checking in if I needed milk and then told she would HAVE to go out and buy some if I did (I never like putting people out but the customer should never feel this way!) I advised not to worry unless buying for others to make it worth her trip. Oh and the at 8:30amI got woken up to a few knocks at the door by the host! Bringing me some milk! Ok I appreciate the gesture but no host should wake up their customers unless specifically asked for a wake up call!! -Definitely a first. This place has lost its way (if it ever was good it’s now not) Absolute over the top price and I felt extremely ripped off!
