The Bittescombe Inn

The food for both our evening meal and breakfast was superb and good value. The room was comfy and well appointed, while the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly.

The staff were outstanding, the food amazing and the room perfect.

This is a cosy pub, full of life and community, but peaceful enough to enjoy the most relaxing sleep! The breakfast in the morning was so tasty and the owners couldn't do enough for you! Would highly recommend!

Mark and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. Could not do enough for you and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent and so glad I made room for the sticky toffee pudding, the best I’ve ever had. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed and lovely bed linen. Coffee machine and bottle of water by the bed was a nice touch and the toiletries in the bathroom smelt amazing. After a good night sleep we had an excellent breakfast of yoghurt, berries, cereals, croissants and full English. Perfect was to start the day. Thank you all x

The location was perfect for our weekend plans. The pub was warm and inviting, it was busy with the locals which is always lovely to see. The pubs decor was beautiful, as was the decor in the room. The landlord and landlady (sorry can’t remember their names) were very warm and welcoming and super friendly. We didn’t eat an evening meal in the pub, however we had a lovely breakfast. On offer included fruit/cereals and pastries as well as a cooked breakfast option too.
