Lidder view Resorts

Unfortunately there wasn’t anything that stood out to me about the property. I particularly enjoyed nothing. My stay was disappointing.

We were looking forward to our stay at Lidder View resorts. The location was great. However, our room wasn’t cleaned very well and the photos deceived us. The room was smaller than expected, there was no ventilation (no fan, no AC), no electricity throughout the night, no generator backup, no space to store our luggage, the breakfast wasn’t as expected (we were charged 350/- just for a slice of hard bread and dry parathas) and basically nothing that a normal stay usually has. This made our stay very less comfortable.

The location of the property is the greatest attraction of the hotel

As it happened in the case of our last booking at Heritage House Boats, the facilities mentioned in the booking confirmation were no where to be seen once we checked in. Room is of very ordinary in size and facilities minimum..how can this below oar hotel be advertised by booking.com as 4 star is beyond our imagination.

The location, garden, trees and view are very good, proximity to the flowing river was awesome

Dirty sheets, food quality was poor

Worst stay with very bad experience.

Horrible experience!!

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at all Costs! My stay at this property was an absolute nightmare. Here's a detailed account of my dreadful experience: 1. Unprofessional Staff: From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly unprofessional. They lacked basic hospitality skills and was asking to pay the whole amount while checking in. My check-in process was chaotic , with no one offering any assistance or information about the facilities and they were smoking in front of us.They have called us and asked for booking amount even after it was being mentioned on this site that we haven’t to pay.! It was so horrible that we didn’t wanted to stay so they misbehaved with us and even started arguing.! 2. Mishbehaviour: The behavior of the staff was appalling. They were rude, dismissive, and uncooperative. When I raised concerns about the cleanliness of my room, they shrugged it off and even mocked us. 3.Unsafe for Females: As we were 4 female traveler’s, we all felt extremely unsafe throughout my stay. There were no security measures in place, and I noticed several shady individuals hanging around the premises at all hours. The lack of proper lighting in corridors and common areas only added to the sense of insecurity. 4. Dirty: The property was filthy. My room was grimy, with stains on the bedding and dust everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting, with mold in the shower and a foul smell emanating from the drains. The common areas were equally dirty. 5. Price Too High: For the deplorable conditions and poor service, the price was outrageously high. I felt completely ripped off, as the cost did not match the quality of accommodation provided. 6. Haunted: To top it all off, the property had an eerie, unsettling vibe. And when we told them we didn’t want to stay they were not letting us go and asking for whole amount to be paid also I contacted the executive of booking.
