Very spacious, clean house. Big living room space, renovated bathroom/shower, and many bedrooms for a fun stay for a family or group. Very close to Hikone Castle, and free parking for up to 2 cars.

We had an amazing time. We arrived with 2 cars and everything we needed was within 10 minutes drive. The owner Gaku san was very helpful the whole time. We are already planning visiting again in Autumn!

Nice place, recommend and love it

The place is very conveniently located right next to the castle and the shopping street. The kitchen is well equipped (there were even paper towels and Saran wrap, which most hosts forget about), and there is nice big western-style dining table. The tatami rooms have bed mattresses, so they are softer than normal futons. The bathroom was clean and modern, and has a nice washing machine (with a second one and a drier outside!).

It was not an issue for us, but having only one toilet may be a bit uncomfortable for larger groups.
