River Cottage Lodge

I haven’t enough words to explain how was good stay here! A quiet place in front of Kruger! Few steps from the room you can see animals going drink to the river! But the best of all was the kindness of the owner, the best of entire south Africa!!!!! He helped me fixing some scratches on my car! He was so kind! I love this place!

Location and very comfortable and clean

Drains were smelly unfortunately.

Very friendly host. Accommodated a very late check in.

Bedding was okay. Facilities and furniture is a bit outdated but still functional.

Spacious, and reasonably well equipped. Towels were small and threadbare.

Unfinished buildings around the deck. Due to load shedding each unit should have a Magneto Lantern

Very well located. Rooms spacious and everything is there that you need. Sitting at the river you can see a lot of animals.

Needs some maintenance, but they are clearing the backlog. Once that is done, it will look very good.

Spacious cottages and lovely views.

The bathrooms could use a revamp, however they were clean.

The friendliness of people.
