River Cottage Lodge

We liked the warm welcome, clean basic accommodation, WiFi, AC and heat. Ample parking. The lovely setting in the garden and the viewing deck on the Crocodile River looking into Kruger National Park. It’s only a 10 minute drive to the Malelane Gate into Kruger. Plenty of shopping close by as well.

De matrassen waren wat verouderd met kuilen erin en niet comfortabel.

We loved it here! We had a warm welcome. The self catering cabin was basic and clean. The viewing deck over the Crocodile River was fantastic. It was only 15 minutes from good grocery stores and Malelane Gate into Kruger.

We would have liked a slightly bigger cooking area.

It was an amazing stay! We saw so many animals at the river from the terrace of the lodge. The room was much bigger than we thought and we had a very good bed which was extremy comfortable! It was the lodge in which we slept best during our South Africa trip! We really enjoyed this spacious, clean and cozy accommodation with that amazing river view (= beautiful sunsets and sunrises and plenty of game and birds!!!). We had plenty of space there and we were helped so much by the manager Greg who suggested us a very good and affordable mechanic for our vehicle issues which were solved quickly and for very little costs by this mechanic. Furthermore it was a very cozy and lovely stay at this lodge and it was just a 10 minutes drive to the Malelane Gate of the Kruger Park. We would defenitly come back to this lodge and we will recommend it to our friends.
